Fr. Dennis Gonzales assists healthcare professionals, clergy, individuals, and families facing difficult ethical healthcare, and end-of-life decisions. He helps clarify complex healthcare and ethical questions so families can make thoughtful, informed decisions consistent with human dignity and the faith.

Throughout his ministry and healthcare experience, Fr. Dennis has encountered many individuals and families facing the realities of aging, serious illness, and caregiving. He has listened to their worries, witnessed their struggles, and seen how illness can affect not only the person who is suffering but also their family members. These experiences have deepened his desire to accompany people through these difficult moments and, whenever possible, help ease the burdens they carry.

Hoping to make the journey of illness, aging, and caregiving little less difficult, he offers practical and accessible information, pastoral encouragement, and reflections to help people care for those they love without forgetting to care for themselves.

Fr. Dennis holds a Master of Arts in Bioethics from Loyola University Chicago and a Master’s in Theological Studies from the Washington Theological Union in Washington, DC. He completed a supervised introductory Clinical Pastoral Education program at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. He is also a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida with clinical experience in acute and long-term care. A former staff member of the Philippine Council for Health and Development-DOST in Manila, Fr. Dennis is trained in writing health research findings.
