Fr. Dennis Gonzales is a priest of the Diocese of Palm Beach, Florida.  He has accompanied a number of patients and family members in their journey towards the end of life.  He worked as a registered nurse at the Washington Home and Community Hospices and Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC, before his formation to the priesthood.  He also completed an internship program in Clinical Pastoral Education at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, where he ministered to terminally-ill patients who participated in clinical trials.  Fr. Dennis obtained a Master of Divinity from St. Vincent de Paul Seminary in Florida and a Master of Arts in Bioethics from Loyola University Chicago, through a grant from the Bernard A. Egan Foundation. He serves as chaplain to the Palm Beach Physicians Guild of the Catholic Medical Association, and the Interfaith Health and Wellness Program of the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach.
